![]() Plus, I didn’t feel the main characters had chemistry beyond working well together. However, the execution and the dragging out of what separated the pair in the first place was too long for me. The Roughest Draft sounded like a good premise – two authors who had previously worked together to great success but now hate each other are forced to reunite one last time in a sticky summer to fulfil contractual obligations. Why I chose it: Liked the idea of the story. The not-so-good: The reason why Nathan and Katrina split is pretty obvious, I didn’t think it needed to wait to be revealed. ![]() The good: Interesting premise for a story. Now they don’t speak to each other – until circumstances mean they have to fulfil the last novel on their contract. ![]() ![]() In brief: Nathan and Katrina wrote that book that everyone loved. ![]()
